While stationed in Germany the 205th was an independent medium lift helicopter company assigned to the 4th Transportation Brigade providing general support to Unite States Armed Forces in Europe. The unit was stationed at Mainz-Finthen Airfield and flew support missions all over Europe and to some Mediterranean countries. Listed here is historical information and photographs.
